You may not have to pay for the full cost or any cost towards your support.  The Local Government Authority or Social Services may be able to help you with the costs of your care.  After an assessment by Social Services you maybe entitled to The Direct Payments scheme. 
 

The Direct Payments scheme enables you to have a personal budget, so that you are in control of your own care and able to spend the personal budget in a manner of your choosing to meet your own needs.
